Product Description

Our technicians use a UV-protected, coated galvanised steel weld wire mesh that is installed around your solar panels leaving no gaps for birds or pests to enter, without using screws or drilling holes. The Solar Panel Screening Kit is tightly secured using a polycarbonate or stainless-steel clip which cannot be removed by birds or pests.

Metal weld wire mesh is bent around the perimeter of the panels after they are installed and fixed in place with plastic clips. The weld wire mesh provides a strong barrier, and can be made from either galvanised or, at slightly higher cost, stainless steel.

Installation Guide

Cut the mesh to an appropriate size for your solar panel.
Use a piece of plywood to bend the solar panel bird mesh at a 45-degree angle so that it sits on the roof.
Attach a hook to the solar panel.
Place clips every 18 inches.
Thread the hooks through the mesh.
Add a washer to the hook.
Slide washers down the hook.
Once all washers are added, slide them up against the solar panel bird mesh to secure.
Cut the excess portion of the hooks just past the washers to complete.
