Product Description

EnviroGuard Galvanized Steel Solar Bird Mesh

Ideal for use in screening solar panels to prevent birds of all species from accessing the underside of the panel. Pest bird infestations can cause significant damage to solar panels, roof coverings, and rainwater drainage systems, while also drastically reducing solar panel output due to pigeon faecal matter accumulation. The system is fast and easy to install with no gluing or drilling required.

Cutting Technique

Use heavy gauge side cutters to cut the mesh to required size. Cut into six-foot lengths and straighten before installation. Using a length of 2X4 timber, bend up the bottom inch of mesh to about 30 degrees to help lock the mesh firmly into place against the solar panel.
