Description of Zirconium Wire Mesh

Zirconium is a shiny silver-grey metal that is highly ductile and extremely resistant to corrosion and heat. Its symbol in the periodic table is Zr, and its atomic number is 40. It melts at 1855°C and boils at 4409°C, and it is not corroded by acids, alkalis or seawater.

Zirconium (Zr) is a silver metal with a density of 6.52 g/cm³. Zirconium has been used to make electrode components, foils, flanges bolts, tubes and rods for special applications. With a high melting point of 1855°C (3371°F) and a small neutron absorption cross-section, zirconium is excellent for the nuclear power industry.
