Copper wire cloth features natural flexibility, malleability, and ductility with a distinctive fuchsia or rose red color. When exposed to atmosphere, it develops a protective patina (green/blue copper oxide layer) that enhances corrosion resistance.

While its abrasion resistance and tensile strength are lower than bronze or brass alloys, copper wire cloth offers superior performance in atmospheric conditions, seawater, non-oxidizing acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and organic acids.
